LSSU Lakers 2016-17

Owen Headrick has played 17 games played for Erie and has just 2 goals and 2 assists. I wonder if he'll be close to being a healthy scratch soon?

I have to admit, the constant Erie Otter chatter made me check out the roster. Holy crap! A 1st round draft pick (#3 overall, Dylan Strome), 3 2nd rounders, including DeBrincat, who's averaging over 2 pts/game, 2 3rd rounders, a 5th, and a 6th. I'm pretty sure my mom could pick up assists on that team.

Pssst....Nobody cares, Baker.

Owen has 4 points in 17 games.

Colin Saccoman (also a defenseman), in the last 17 games, has a 2-7=9 points by my count, but nobody is posting about that.

Erie also has 8 draft picks with a couple of first or second rounders in there. They were going to win with our without Headrick.

That being said, IF he becomes a regular the big game, I'll be happy for him, same as with any other former Laker, but the kid has a long road ahead of him.

Methinks head coach Damon Whitten was once again over his head in preparation for a playoff game. Don't let the final score fool you, the good ship Laker was embarrassed, man, and lack of preparation clearly falls on the man at the top, albeit deaf ears on here, as it's always a different excuse or the wait until next year talk.

LakerBaker= Fake News. We have improved over last season this rebuild takes time. Keep spewing your lies though. :rolleyes:

Eh, I do think it warranted a 5. The guy would've had a mouth full of Dasher if it wasn't for the mask. I do think, though, that he didn't have the best footing when Gus hit him to make it look worse than it should've been.
