A lost and no power play goals against the 58th ranked team in the nation. This team needs to find out why they are a roller coaster team .
By the sounds of it I'm glad we went to last nights game. The first period looked pretty good; but the 2nd and 3rd they played to their compition; slow and poorly. I have watched them for years and have always respected the way they play in the last min or two at the end of the game. They need to learn to take some of that intensity and put it through out the game. They may not find themselves on the short end of the stick as often. But its back to the 'A' Team or 'B' Team. I'm hoping the 'A' Team will show up this weekend.
Yep. By the Christmas break we should have a reasonable idea of whether this team can finish at or above .500 for the CCHA season. The return of Campbell should give the team a boost after the break but I'm not sure how much of a difference one guy will make.Lakers MUST sweep next weekend on their home ice. .500 on home isn't going to cut it. Lakers play two very tough road series at Notre Dame and Miami after the OSU series.

Shoulder problem again. I think he had surgery in August. Why then and not earlier in the Summer I don't know.Bill , what was wrong with Campbell and why has he been out so long ?
From the Laker Hockey Show:
Campbell attended the Bruins camp this Summer. His shoulder was still bothering him a bit so he saw a specialist afterwards and was told things still weren't right and surgery was recommended.
We are a .500 team right now. Its time to get over tha hump. Its a nice hump -- I like it whole lot better than winning 9 games for an entire season. And I like how they came out angry Saturday night -- I sure would like to see more of that. I think UAH tightened up after the barrage and LSSU appeared content to not let UAH move too much, so the 2nd and 3rd period became something of a slow march in slush. BUt that is better than coughing up a lead ala UAF. If the ther team is playing slow, by all means allow them.
This was a disappointing weekend because of Friday night's ugliness.
Certainly putting a few wins together back-to-back would be very nice. Beating OSU this weekend is extremely important.
I don't pay much attention to polls early in the season, but NMU certainly has played a pretty tough schedule thus far, which is probably why they are still getting votes. The lack of common sense with some of the voting in the USCHO poll is amazing, NMU was rated as recently as last week, and they got another 12 votes this week, who is voting for those guys?? I'd love to hear their explanation for how they can vote a team to be one of the top teams in the nation when they've won 1 of their last 8 games and 2 of their last 10?? They started out 3-0 I get it, but that was in the beginning of October...

I'll be the first to admit they have played a tough schedule but to get credit for a tough schedule I think you should have to win a few more games than they have[/QUOTE
Anchors , plus their goals for and against sucks.

Yea Coreau hasn't had the season I think many in MQT expected, although to be fair they have had some key players miss some time also.
