Knowing UML, I bet they still transmit over that 56.6 K ISDN line that was set up 15 years ago when I started there....ha ha ha. This is a school with an SRT program.
I know high schools that have better set up than this, i.e. Lowell High...LOL.

more to the point, this is a school with an engineering program... nobody's going to argue sound quality here. I had a friend who worked the UConn student radio doing sports... as far as I know they have a kit (its about the size of a musical instrument box and is fairly heavy)... not sure about the reliability and I'd suspect its about as old as dirt. It bothers me that the simple phone connection to the radio hasn't been mastered yet or rather we can't get a "simple" (probably costly) equipment upgrade. I'm not going to pretend to guess what's going wrong but IMO, it cuts out way too often and for much longer than in the past.
IMO, the issue isn't the radio transmitter, the issue isn't the webfeed. The issue is whatever connection they have between the broadcast and the station... they've had these issues at home games as well.
