Considering all of the offseason smack talk between Lowell & UVM fans I thought I'd get this thread started early :D

UVM can't be happy with the way they played against Merrimack and Maine so I fully expect them to come out hard in front of a fired up crowd at The Gut.

Lowell has to be disappointed about not getting at least 3 points against BU but Saturdays win was a nice confidence booster.

Should be a good one on Friday.

Maybe UML will catch the Other Kitties looking forward to PC.

After last year, can't see anyone at UVM thinking about anyone but us until the game is over.

Haven't seen anything of UVM this year, are they still Jeckyll & Hyde with the wide-open @ home and trap trap trap on the road?

I think they have only played one home game this year so I guess we will find out on Friday what style they will play.

dunno but they lost to maine and merrimack by a combined score of 9-2 so how good can they be?

their season thread has the fans abandoning ship like the rats they are.

If Vermont wins then its only due to the glory of their rightful awesomeness... if Vermont loses then it didn't really matter... sorta like BC and the Beanpot.

Goon made a good observation about the UVM thread. They are jumping ship like no tomorrow.

Is anyone from Lowell making the trip up to Burlington? Kind of a tough road trip with the only game being Friday night.

I have to go up to UVM to make a presentation for my Company. I hoped it would be this Friday so I could go to the game but it's going to be in December.

I'll be going up with a couple people and back the same night. Not as bad as doing it for Maine but still a long day. Hopefully UVM makes it worth the while by losing to us.

Just checked out the UVM thread and it seems that Sneddon is going to pull out all the stops to turn the program around just in time for our arrival. Ducky. Hopefully the 'blank stares' he got continues for at least another game.

2nd home game of the year. And against a team whose fans seem to think that they have something to prove.

I am pretty sure Lowell will have their "A" game and Vermont will too. The last time Vermont played a home game, they took it to BC. No reason they can't do it to Lowell also.

The last time Lowell played in Burlington they swept the Catamounts. Don't see why that won't happen again.

A sweep implies more than one game. Since this is a one and done game, a sweep is not possible. The sweep will happen at the end of the season when Vermont comes to Lowell to finish league play.

I agree. Lowell will sweep at the end of the season.

Lowell is 3-0-1 in their last four games at the Gut. Nothing I've seen so far tells me that they'll be a departure from the norm.

Except for the fact that those games are at Lowell, not at the Gut. Vermont is 4-0 in their last 4 games at Lowell....
