Well if anyone has been on the boards the last month (and esp. the last few days) it looks like Penn State will be adding Men's and Women's DI hockey within the next few years. It makes and intriguing match up of future DI programs the first series of the season is a three-game series LU at PSU.

Just looked at their schedule and I can't believe that they will be going to NMU (Marquette, MI) the last weekend in January! What a crummy time to be heading up to the U.P. of Michigan.

Usually it's only rough weather from Northwest of Detroit up to Marquette. but either way it's a long trip.

Fortunately they will be traveling through Wisconsin which is always awesome!!


Still the worst bus trip I've seen was the Concordia--Moorhead to Adrian...nearly 900 miles

yep that's right I mapquested it and going up through Wis. is shorter for LU.
