The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Our men and women in uniform, past and present, serve honorably--sometimes at the cost of their lives. Take a moment today or tomorrow to thank a vet. It's the least you can do. And it will be appreciated.

IMO we shouldn't need a day to say thanks to veterans, we should thank vets everyday and anytime we see them. Salut John Baslione, Richard Winters, Bill Guarnere, and everyone who's served.
if you want a 2 minute summation of character, humility and honor from 11:15 to the end of this clip will give you that
Salut Sgt. Salvatore Giunta http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoEZKyIAPIQ
Yes we do. Every year I remember my mother's brother. Jack Thomas, RCNR, went down with all hands onboard HMCS Raccoon, an armed yacht torpedoed in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
That's really sad. I'm reading the book "The Remains of Company D", about an American WWI unit, what a slaughter. Please never forget the sacrifices of the young lads and lassies. I really don't think America will ever appreciate what these men lived through, how they lived and how they died. God bless those Vets who remain alive, may they find strength and comfort in the Good News.
And a special thanks to my nephew Aaron and neices Tanya and Kelli, who are all currently serving our country in the Air Force. Thanks to my Dad (peacetime), his brothers (1 in WW2, a Sherman crewman on Okinawa, 1 in Korean war, infantry severely wounded) and his father (WWI infantry), all who served our country in uniform.
They will always be among our greatest heros. I'd like to stretch this respect to include police and firemen who have laid down their lives for Americans as well.
