Lake State Lakers (2025-26)

HUGE recruiting W for yall

06 G Anders Miller commits to LSSU, he was the starter for the best team in all of canadian junior hockey for most of the year, only blemish being a loss in the Memorial Cup finals.

He's from Anchorage, AK, but appears to have moved to the midwest for his hockey career, spending a few years with the Sioux Falls Power org. He was undrafted in the WHL and started the 24-25 season in the AJHL before the Calgary Hitmen picked him up. They were going for a championship but had a big hole in the crease. He picked up a lot of slack for the Hitmen and was a tandem with Wisco G Daniel Hauser after his trade to the Hitmen, and once Hauser was injured in the post-season, he ended up starting. After an early season trade to the Everett Silvertips, he went 29-4-0 in 33 regular season games, 2.12 GAA, .920 s%, and put up 4 shutouts. In the WHL Championship run, he went 16-1-1 in all 18 games, 1.91 GAA, .932 s%, with 1 shutout.

He fills a big hole after we lost Rorke Applebee to Quinnipiac via the Portal.
