Jesse Martin Spoke Today at DU About His Injury and Recovery

Jesse Martin spoke at the TEDx Event at DU today about his injury and recovery. There are 4 videos of his approximate 30 minute speech. It was an extremely emotional and moving speech. Jesse started classes in the beginning of January and is expected to graduate this summer.

Investing 30 minutes of your life to watch how this fine young man has dealt with his injury may change the way you look at your own life.

I can't recommend this highly enough.

He has a good head on his shoulders.. is pretty good at public speaking too.

I liked what he said at the end.. 'embrace what you have.. & cherish it..'

No kidding.. the stuff mankind takes for granted.

G'luck young man, & i sincerely hope you do get to teach your son/dtr how to skate someday :).

This young man is so impressive: thoughtful, reflective, funny, ironic, brave. We're all so grateful he's emerged from this incident with his options for the future intact. We came so close to losing him.
