With Jamie Russell gone what is the future of a tradional small town school?

Do they have a future in the WCHA with the big ten forming?

Is this a good job or a bad job?

Who is the ideal canidate for this job?

Is there any candidates out there that want to build a program from scratch in the best confrence and academics in college hockey?

Never like to see a coach leave on a sour note or a losing season, good luck Mr. Russell and good luck finding a new coach Tech.:)

Rick Comley indicated that he wasn't sure that he was done with college hockey, just MSU. He and Renfrew, then Renfrew taking over in three to five?

I really hope Tech finds a good coach who can get that team playing. It's not a question of being a small school. There are small schools that have excellent programs. It is a matter of getting the right people in the right places. I feel Jamie Russell was dealt a bad hand in the last few years. He is still a bright young coach and he will land on his feet very soon.

I think Tech will get someone in there and they'll get better.

That would not be a bad situation for michigan tech, Rick Comley is a great college hockey guy with two national championships with two diffrent programs. great choice if he wants it.

Newelll Brown could come back and finish what he started a few years ago he is still a well traveled assistant NHL coach
