Jack Parker Controls the Weather, Too!

Re: Jack Parker Controls the Weather, Too!

If you stopped 100 persons on their way into the arena (assuming at least 100 persons attend these games), how many persons would know where Merrimack College was located? And let's make it easy on them - just the state.

Easy: Merriland.

Re: Jack Parker Controls the Weather, Too!

this move actually benefits BC because now bu has to play the make up game in the lead up to the 1/21 matchup with the Eagles. of course, maybe joe periera is planning on giving BC those two points as well. if that is the case, maybe he can tell us in advance this time and we can all save ourselves the trouble!

Re: Jack Parker Controls the Weather, Too!

Did you see the long range forecast? We're supposed to get another storm so maybe it will get postponed again!

Re: Jack Parker Controls the Weather, Too!

I am genuinely frightened by what I just read on this link...not by the content, but because someone actually believes this to be true.

Truth. Some scary crap out there. I'm good with the occasional conspiracy theory, but some of this stuff is whack.

Re: Jack Parker Controls the Weather, Too!

A great argument would seem to be Lowell fans, who believe Jack Parker controls the universe, and whoever these Merrimack fans are that think they could defeat the 1992 Olympic Dream Team.

Come on, if Parker controlled the universe, it would rain Jim Beam. :)

Re: Jack Parker Controls the Weather, Too!

Perhaps a terriere loyalist can enlighten us: Doesn't bu's benefitting from all this cool white stuff violate the deal jack parker made with the Devil to ensure bu's puck luck during jack's tenure???

Remember, we're talking about people in Tennesee...you could ask them what state Boston University is in and you'd get the same confused look...

also corrected for accuracy.

..and you also misspelled Tennessee in a statement making fun of them for being stupid. :p

MC is also the only team in Hockey East without some easily distinguishable location as part of their college name.

Hey, at least we don't mislead people...Chestnut Hill University :p

haha I didnt mean it seriously just jokingly :)

Love the suburban campus setting, which is why I loved my time at Merrimack. I'll consider the fact that the lovely people of Tennessee don't know where Merrimack is a positive :)

well i dont think a school with a name that is a general direction such as 'northeastern" is any easier for someone to figure out where it is. at least merrimack refers to the merrimack valley
