It's Go Time, Junior - AIC at Michigan Tech, Friday, Oct. 7

Yea, whatever, these student athletes don't need to be criticized by people that probably could not even skate across the rink without falling on their arse.

They work their tails off to play Div 1..... Give them some respect.....
Root for your team, don't degrade them. Find another team if all you have is negativity......

My skating ability (or lack thereof :)) is irrelevant to this discussion. With what I've paid to follow and support this team the last several years, excuse me for expecting a complete 60 minute effort on the ice in every game. If Coach Pearson wants to treat the players like professionals, with such lofty goals as winning the GLI for the first time in three decades, making the Final Five, and making the NCAA tournament, then I will follow his lead.

I am happy to see the comeback, but the sun is up on a new day and we have another game to play tonight. There's a lot of work to be done yet.

You really shouldn't say things like this, especially at a school in the UP where the winter is so long and you need to find a winter sport to play, I can name quite a few posters (including myself) that actually play hockey regularly, so our skating/playing ability (which is completely irrelevant to the discussion) actually let's us see exactly how they're failing. When we "jump-ship" and post negative comments, it's because we understand what's actually going on, it's because we're disappointed with our team, especially with the goaltending last night. It could have been much, much better.
