The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Oswego loses its 2 goal lead then loses the game in OT..........very even good game...reffing bad .also platty looked to dive and embelish, never saw that before from them...touuuuugh rd ahead for the lakers
I thought the Cards played very poorly at first, reflected by the score, they looked rusty and disorganized, but things gradually changed as the game wore on. Towards the end, Plattsnurgh's forecheck began to improve and untimately made the difference in the minute and 55 seconds of (dreaded...my word) OT.
GO CARDS
I did notice the Cards acting it up a bit, knowing how important it was to draw penalties on the Lakers. That said, most of them were penalties. It was NOT the difference in the game though. I don't think either goalie played particularly well and both defenses had poor coverage on some of the goals. Cards wore them down late with relentless forecheck. Lakers will be OK, but they need a 8 game win streak somewhere.
