Is Bruce In Town?

Re: Is Bruce In Town?

Bruce arrives Monday night...his luggage Wednesday...maybe. :)

Re: Is Bruce In Town?

Make sure to take him to the Silver Gulch and don't tell him it's a $17 cab ride from the host Hotel (Alpine Lodge) to downtown Fairbanks.

Re: Is Bruce In Town?

I hope he draws a good impression. UAF runs a first class program, has outstanding coach and a very hockey friendly AD. The only negative at all is the possibility of getting to Anchorage and having a 3 or 4 hour layover for the connecting flight to Fairbanks. Other than the travel, the Fairbanks experience is a very positive one. Maybe you can have MOIT meet him at the airport and take him out for a jet fueled bonfire!

Re: Is Bruce In Town?

Unless you can catch the Twin Cities-ANC nonstop, it's vastly easier to connect to one of the Seattle-Fairbanks nonstops.

Flights through Seattle are definitely better connections, and usually you do get MSP to ANC non-stop. It's just a matter of what UAF books for you.
