Hey everyone,
Just wanted to pop in and introduce our new podcast: Crazy Hockey Dads—now streaming wherever you listen to podcasts.
It’s all about surviving (and sometimes thriving) in the chaotic world of youth hockey. We dive into the highs, the lows, and everything in between—from Tier 1 to Tier 2, the growing pains with your own kids, and navigating the unpredictable world of hockey parents.
At the end of the day, we're just a couple of dads trying to have some fun, share some laughs, and tell the stories that only happen around the rinks. Like the time my buddy literally dropped through a ceiling Mission: Impossible-style into a locked pro shop in New Hampshire... all to grab his kid’s skates before a semifinal game. You can’t make this stuff up.
Whether you’re looking for perspective, a few laughs, or just want to know you’re not the only one losing your mind at the rink, we hope our stories resonate—and maybe even help.
Thanks for tuning in. We’re just getting warmed up.

All feedback is welcome and appreciated—we’d love to hear from you and learn what topics interest you most!

Hi there,

Great question—and yes, we definitely talk about what it’s like to be a new hockey parent on the podcast. If you go back and check out some of our earlier episodes, you’ll find a ton of helpful insights and stories. A lot of it comes from the mistakes Scott and I made along the way—so hopefully, you can learn from what we did wrong and save yourself some time (and maybe a few headaches).

If your child is just starting out, buckle up—it’s a bumpy ride, but a really rewarding one. We hope you find some value (and laughs) in what we share, and please don’t hesitate to reach out anytime.

Best of luck on this new journey,
Jamie
