Indian(dot) man arrested for raping lizard.

rufus

rock and roller
Four Indian poachers were arrested for carrying weapons into a nature preserve, and one of them confessed to raping a lizard while there. Video of the encounter was found on his phone.

India is the closest "superpower" country to the 3rd world hands down.... Sure they are financially advanced in some areas of the country, but they also still have areas that lack indoor plumbing... So it's not surprising to hear of stuff straight out of the backwoods as the banjo from Deliverance plays in the background....

My Brazilian friends have told me stories about what happens an hour outside the major cities.

But yeah India is so much more depressing because guys you've had almost all of human history to get your act together.

Brazil isn't a ton better, but they are an order of magnitude smaller than India in both population and a business sense. If India were to disappear tomorrow, so does a good chunk of the globe's economic infrastructure.

But it's easily replaceable. I'm looking at you, Africa.
