Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

Amarillo(NAHL) Goaltender Mike Taffe withdrew his committment to Manhattanville last minute. He is on campus here at Utica.

In 29 games with the Bulls last season, Taffe was 20-3-3 with a 2.22 GAA and a 91.6 save percentage. Seems to me like Therrien will be fighting very hard for his starting job this preseason. I certainly hope he's ready.

Austin Bruins (NAHL) goaltender Tyler Bruggeman has committed to play Division III hockey at St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Bruggeman who played in 42 games last season with the Bruins had 27 wins and a 92.2% save percentage. Prior to Bruins hockey in the NAHL, Bruggeman spent a couple years in the USHL with Des Moines and Fargo as well as a year with St Louis in the NAHL where he backstopped the Bandits to a Robertson Cup appearance
