Resurrecting the program that has been dormant for over 60 years. This is huge.
Did they delete it? I'm looking at the page right now and it's not there.

Aw poop.
If the University of Illinois can coax the Jimmy John's CEO into giving the school $70 million or $80 million for a new rink, there will be Illini hockey in the B1G. Otherwise, it's not happening at the D-I level.
They run an excellent club program in Champaign, and they could probably make an easy transition into D-I college hockey, but financing the program itself is the issue. (As it always is.)
On January 13, 1983, the first Jimmy John's opened in a garage in Charleston, Illinois. Paying $200 a month in rent, Liautaud could afford only used equipment consisting of a refrigerator, a chest freezer, an oven and a meat slicer; there was no ice machine.[6] Liautaud soon started delivering his sandwiches to the students of Eastern Illinois University.[7]
I, for one, welcome our new college hockey overlords.
