If tDon Loses This, Fire Him On The Spot: Minnesota at Michigan Tech, Dec. 11-12

Re: If tDon Loses This, Fire Him On The Spot: Minnesota at Michigan Tech, Dec. 11-12

Probably has less to do with the production company and more to do with that the Wild are playing both Friday and Saturday.

True, but learfield still blows.

Cool. Thanks. Like I said, I honestly can't see myself finishing it off, but I'm curious enough to try this...

I can't wait to see this, and I think we should get Flashy in on this too because I have never seen him drunk yet. He probably won't though, because its not made by New Glarus.

Don't expect to drink more than half a bottle if you want any other drinks that night.

Sounds good to me. My only worry is drinking it too fast and then having it hit hard, which is probly what will end up happening.:D That or pacing myself too much and having it end up being warm by the end.:(

That would be quite funny. Though, if he's drinking, then who's driving?
And, secondly, if we're tailgating, I can't see anything getting warm, much less the beer.

Yeah... that's what snowbanks are for! :)

Just drink it normally it actually didnt hit me till i poured my last glass, I kept the bottle in the fridge and refilled as needed.

Edit: seeing the weather for the weekend, its looking cold high 11 on friday and 16 on Saturday, Id actually be more worried about beer freezing but if the beer is covered in snow, the snow will act as an insulator and keep the beer from freezing....ok the engineer will shut up now

F * * * I didn't know this. Now I may have to go. A person shouldn't be forced to go to Houghton multiple times. Ugh
I'll agree, but hey, at least you get to meet me! :p

Didn't you know, I'm the DD for all posters; at least that's how it seems after I stupidly drunk dialed Boosh, and asked if I was his too... :p

Can't we tailgate somewhere warm? Seriously?
And before I got to your "ok the engineer will shut up now", I was thinking the same thing. :p

Our apartment isn't that far from the arena, and yes winter is one of the best times of the year for drinking beer. I didn't realize we were doing the challenge at the tailgate.

Sounds good. I am looking forward to this especially after this week of suck is finally over.

Re: If tDon Loses This, Fire Him On The Spot: Minnesota at Michigan Tech, Dec. 11-12

I'm considering making the trip but was wondering if anybody would be interested in starting the drive back to the Twin Cities after the Saturday game. The reason I ask is that I'm a Vikings season ticket holder so I want to go to the Vikings home game on Sunday. It's a noon start and I don't feel like getting up at 4 Sunday morning to make the drive back.

One idea to get back in time would be to drive from Saturday 10 pm eastern time to 1 am central time which is 4 hours of driving because of gaining a hour on the way back. Then crash at a cheap hotel for around 6-7 hours and be back on the road at 8 am central time to drive the last 3 hours back to the Twin Cities.

Second idea is to drive straight back after the game Saturday night without stopping if somebody interested in that. Having two drivers that could trade off would make that possible.

Bottom line is either way the trip back would be alot easier if I had somebody to make it with. We could use my car.

And people think engineering knowledge doesn't come in handy. :D

Says the girl who has yet to confirm me as a friend on FB. :p

You probably wouldn't need to crash overnight if you left directly after the game on Saturday. It's really only 6 hours from Houghton to the Cities, speeding moderately and only stopping once.

When are you thinking of going up?

Not sure at this point. I'm curious if there was a reason you asked. :)

Well, when you do it is up to you, I guess. I'm obviously not doing it until Saturday because that's when I'm coming up there.
And given the predicted temps, I'd prefer a car transport...
