Yes the new stripes are a subject of contraversy among BC fans. It's even weirder if you see it up close. They put a bunch of lines and call it "stained glass" but it looks more like someone's stained undies.
Maroon and Gold are BC's colors.

Fans in the arena were upset with the call but they probably couldn't see that Parks used his leg to take the BC player down. It was a good call.
