The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I wouldn't normally agree with this because I'm of the mindset that good teams overcome chitty refs but after the discussions now about a possible Zengerle goal (and my stream didn't show ANY replay whatsoever so I don't know what happened) and putting that together with Schultz, Smith, Zengerle penalties and no consequential penalties of similar duration or magnitude for BU and this is bs.
and this ain't a Sauer team. UW played disciplined hockey as they always do under Eaves so I don't see how the refs will explain this considering what we saw and what the BU announcers said
It didn't cost them a tournament berth back then. Anyway looked like a brutal call. Badgers looked good in the final 5 minutes. And are the guys on the web feed BU RADIO guys? If they are they are terrible. Not until there was 20 seconds left did they announce the game clock.

He scored, but the refs said he kicked in. BU radio guys said Zengerle was on the side of the net and the puck bounced off his skate then hit BU's goalie and went in. They thought it should've been a goal.
I could care less if they are homers, because that's what radio is for, but the fact that they announced how much time was left maybe twice during the whole game is ridiculous. That's radio 101 right there. In a close game like that, that's very important.
CCHA Refs did both games tonight. I don't know their names becuase they only announced them once pregame and they don't wear names or numbers to identify themselves.
