Ice Breaker (@Notre Dame, Minnesota, UMD, RPI) 10/10 & 10/12

Was on the drive to Troy from New Haven for reunion weekend, but RKarger had the stream up on her phone to keep updated. The CHN app spoiled a couple of goals, but I don't mind being spoiled when it's an RPI goal! Time to beat the Yellow Rodents tomorrow!

I think Bonin21 is correct that you are thinking of Tyler. Lou definitely played forward in the USHL last year which is when I started paying attention. You also could be thinking of his grandfather. ;)

WI lost to UA. UND got whupped by BSU.

I think it's the after-effects of the Blood Moon.

So all the upsets were the result of:
a) the rankings were way off, or
b) it's too early in the season for the results to mean anything, or
c) Brenthoven is right: It really is the after-effects of the Blood Moon

Just knowing the Whioux's history...they'll make the tourney. The rest? It's too early. It's ONE FRIGGIN' GAME.
