Ice Breaker 10/12/14 Minnesota vs RPI

Re: Ice Breaker 10/12/14 Minnesota vs RPI

I see FD's never-ending optimism is here! Split against the #12 and the #1 ranked team in the country, that's a great showing.

Notre Dame was subsequently shut out by UMD, so the win vs. Notre Dame isn't really as momentous, not to mention they're predicted to finish towards the bottom of Hockey East. Denver at altitude should be a good test.

FD, we beat a decent ND team in their own building and then lost to the #1 team in the country.
This is the first weekend of the season and I would bet that you had them losing two games going in. So they are already ahead of your predictions.
Our freshmen look good and will improve as the season progresses.
I think their is reason for optimism going through this season.
Think happy thoughts.

When you are a fan of the Buffalo Bills, you are well aware of pre-season optimism. You know, however, that there will be a meltdown a little later in the season, maybe a little bit of a pickup, but then find yourself exiting the scene early once again. I'd rather we be grounded in reality. I expect another mediocre showing in the league with losing in the playoffs either in the first round or quarterfinals.
