Ice Breaker 10/10/14, RPI @ Notre Dame

Re: Ice Breaker 10/10/14, RPI @ Notre Dame

Not sure ND deserved that last penalty-overall not a bad period for us on the road. We were outshot 10-8 but showed some good things. Lots of things to work on though as we seem to wait for the puck to come to us instead of skating to the puck. Not outplayed by much at all and the one goal was a direct result of some poor defesnive handling of the puck. The video is very clear and the announcers seem to be relatively unbiased so far.

Notre Dame not only survives the first, but comes out ahead. Now, the flood gates open, as they'll probably get 2 or 3 next period... hopefully RPI can survive and doesn't embarrass themselves too much...

I agree Doc, I especially liked the power play. Very different than what we are used to seeing. Very good puck movement, now we have to finish.

I thought LaLiberte came to play as did Neal. Some sice shifts from the Woods line-those 3 are quick but passes were either just missing or in the skates. One really good ND goalie save or else this one would be tied. Now, of course, comes the dreaded second period. I have no idea why but for so many years that period has been our downfall. I only hope SA and the crew have learned how to make whatever adapatations they need for the second 20 minutes.

I'm getting to the NBC Sports page but no video. Must be something there to click on that I am just not seeing?

If you are currently in Canada, that could be the trouble. I have no idea if it will work there.
