I deleted my thread since Priceless posted his six minutes before mine. Guessing he killed his as well.

Former Soviet hockey star Vladimir Krutov, part of the famed KLM line, dies at 52. Was part of multiple Gold Medal Olympic teams, as well as on the losing side of 1980's Miracle on Ice.

As an american, I hated that KLM line with a passion. But as a hockey fan-envied their skill, complete control and incredible success. Just incredible talent-and gone far too young.

It's amazing what that generation of Ruskies accomplished, many of which before they had even hit 30. Too bad he never had much of a shot in the NHL.

Although he was slightly more recent and perhaps considered chippy by some (imho he was simply one of the first Euros that would 'fight back' and knew how to pester his opponents), Konstantinov was one of my favorites - in the NHL and Sega. :D
