I am still trying to catch up after being on the road this week, but we'll get there eventually. Week 1 results will be posted on the spreadsheet. thanks for the patience. Hopefully this will work out fine, save time ...........

I've got week 1 results to post and some formulas to fix

Not a problem. So are you going to do the scorekeeping? If so, have it.

No, seriously, it's a time consuming process for someone. If you or someone else wants to step up to the plate, go right ahead. Otherwise, I thought an online spreadsheet would save someone a lot of time over the season.

BTW, the first game this week is Maine-MSU on thursday...so dont waste time.

For everyone, I'll hafta close it off at 7pm tonight, so get ur picks in. If you dont get access soon enough for this week, just post on here and someone will post em on the ss.

In other news, I've consulted the rules committee (me) and have determined that anyone that forgets to pick or refuses to pick will get the lowest score from the people who do pick.

thanks. just looked at it and the only thing i noticed is that for the second BC-Denver game where i have it as a 3-3 tie, the sheet is already calculating 2 points awarded, so you may want to look into that.

my $.02 on your rules committee, if that is the approach you are going to take, i would go with one less than the lowest score of those who do pick... but in the end, it's not a big deal...

Yeah, thats just a formula that is saying if you pick a tie, and no actual score is entered yet (0-0) up at the top, score it 2 points. Once actual scores are in place it takes care of itself.

Yep, its saves a ton of work. I wuz up till 1:30 last night just getting all the first week picks into the week 1 offline ss so I could get their points. Probably about 3 or 4 hours....multiply that by how many weekends of games and you can see the effort it takes....UMLFan did it last year and he commented on how much time it takes....he wuz smart and opted out this year. :D

And yeah...beer is good, but I wont be near the Alfond.

I wuz thinking if you get the lowest score every week, you're in big trouble...besides, I have trouble with my minuses. :D

Just out of curiosity - I hadn't updated anything in the week 1 spreadsheet because I must have overlooked the post with directions. Is it somehow possible to take my original picks from the week 1 thread, or have I missed the boat on that one?

Hungry...I went and put all the week 1 picks into an offline ss and got the points for that week and stuck them into week 2 ss. Check the week 2 ss and see if you agree with the week 1 points if you like but they should be fine.
