Ah...this reminds me of the good ol' days when I used to take you seriously ;)

Look on the bright side, that led to our brief and passionate but ultimately ill-fated marriage.

fine, I'll include Yager and Painted Bandit in that list of putzes.

Seriously? There is no contest....Michigan Tech Fans >>> UND fans any day...how can you even compare?

because you have one fan who wears a hot dog on his head, another that can't hold his alcohol, a white black guy, and a 17 year old hooker. Real great fanbase there.

Knowing what we know about Wisconsin, I'm glad Sloe Gin isn't dead to him.

Which one can't hold his alcohol? Not me, sure I get blasmed every once in a while, but very rarely do I not hold my alcohol!:p

But if we're going on that theory, then aren't there a few others that shouldn't be on that list?

Painted Bandit. I think there's a picture of him and a Homer Bucket at the Forklift Jockey's place

There is a reason we're called Mitch's Misfits...I think I did a great job with that ;) but when you get us all together we're like the A Team, Hogan's Heroes, or the misfit platoon from Stripes

You hold the alcohol of the guy that can't hold his. In fact, you probably hold the alcohol of half the fanbase. Then you faceplant on a sidewalk.

We don't know if it actually was a sidewalk! It could have been the middle of the street, the side of a building, a curb, or even a retaining wall!

Not really - you guys have goobers like MNS, Brad Schlossman, etc. It pretty much evens out. :p

I would really classify a 5-8-1 record as knowing how to beat someone. Relative to Tech, yes. In general, no. I'm thinking 7-8-1 is getting close to respectable though. :D

Putting 5-8-1 in perspective, I would say those results are pretty d@mn solid. Think about who was on those North Dakota teams (Duncan, Oshie, Genoway, VandeVelde, Hextall, etc.) compared to who was on those Tech teams (no one that UND recruited, as Schlossman would point out). In addition, at least six of those games were effectively decided by one goal either way (not counting any ENGs).

Re: Hills and Trees, what are these? North Dakota at Michigan Tech, November 6th and 7th

Some interesting tidbits from Tech's game notes:

-Tech is 52-56-5 all-time against the Sioux in Houghton.
-Coach Russell will become the second on Tech's all-time coaching victories list sometime this season. He is currently tied for third with 63, and Herb Boxer is in second with 66. MacInnes, obviously, is in first with 555 wins.

Schloss is hardly a goober. And MNS, while an incompetent loony, is still a better hockey mind than any of you *kers. :p

If anything Schlossman would put UND fans above Tech fans all by himself. :)

He runs easily one of the best NCAA college hockey blogs out there. Informative, player interviews, practice updates, live game updates, etc.
