A -- Unquestionably unhealthy (albeit profound) obsession
B -- Strong affection but not agonized to miss for, say, a cousin's wedding
C -- Clearly root for but wouldn't give a second thought to missing for a movie

C - all other Dartmouth, Creighton sports, UNO hockey

Today
A - nil
B - Dartmouth hockey, Creighton basketball, Cubs, Broncos
C - other Dartmouth, Creighton sports
D (no longer care about except as local topics of conversation, and their effect on co-workers) - Nebraska/Iowa/Iowa State football, UNO hockey

This could rotate throughout the season for me depending on the magnitude of the game, so I'm going to go with what it would be for a playoff game/game to get into the playoffs.

A-MSU, Tigers, Red Wings
B- Packers. This would probably be A, but with the Lions being shown, I've gotten used to not watching them even in big games, example being this week against the Bears.
C- Pistons. Hard to believe that just five years ago the state was crazy about the NBA. People who didn't even like sports were talking about the Pistons. Now even the die-hards don't care.

A - I have none - I'm too old and been disappointed far too often. Similarly I couldn't imagine getting married time and time again.
B - Vikings, Twins, Gophers
C- Wild

A- Fishing...the doing not the watching. I spent more time while home for the holidays out ice fishing than with my family, and its pretty much always on my mind...when not fishing...tying flies for fishing. New office will have fishing related stuff all over the walls. Left my sisters wedding right after the ceremony to get home so I could get to bed and wake up really early the next morning and go fishing.
B- Notre Dame football and basketball, Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Steelers, LSSU Laker hockey while I was there, Winter Olympics (except ice skating, ice dancing etc...)
C- Chicago White Sox, LSSU Laker hockey now (still follow but dont listen to games online or follow quite as closely)

EDIT: ooohhhh forgot about the winter olympics...had to add that to B...

A: NFL football, NHL (playoffs), college hockey (playoffs)
B: Gophers hockey (actually this should be almost A/B combo)
C: MN Twins, NHL (regular season)

A -- NMU Hockey, US Ski/Snowboard Team, Select Auto Racing Events (Knoxville Nationals, Daytona 500, 24 Hours of LeMans)
B -- Chicago Blackhawks, More Auto Racing (Indy 500, Daytona 24 Hours, various local/regional short track events in the Midwest)
C -- Chicago White Sox, Jacksonville Jaguars, NMU Athletics, General Auto Racing

As a Participant

A -- Snowboarding/Skiing, Fishing
B -- None really
C -- Hockey

B: NMU Hockey, Red Wings, Tigers, Lions, Michigan football
C: Pistons, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Griffins, NCAA Basketball

A - Gopher hockey, twins baseball (As those who follow me on GPL know, I have dozens of spreadsheets dedicated to each, maybe 100 for the twins. I also have google earth files dedicated to the gopher hockey team with regards to recruiting among other things. Dead serious on both, truly unhealthy, sad really)
B - Gopher basketball, gopher football
C - Vikings, Wild (although I'd put the Wild between B & C)

B: Badgers Football, Badgers Basketball
C: Bucks, Blackhawks, Brewers, even Marquette a little bit (never really consumed by the rivalry)

B (serious fandom) - Michigan football, NCAA hockey playoffs, NHL playoff games not involving Detroit
C (casual fandom) - Tech football, Lions, other hockey games between good teams, PGA golf
D (curious fandom) - All other sports and teams
