According to Jamie earlier today, they're still calling conference each other to figure it out, so I am not sure how solid January is.

The skating treadmill is basically the most overhyped and misunderstood investment in the hockey program over the past decade or so. I'm still amazed at the number of people who think it is supposed to magically make our worst skaters faster. It may improve speed a bit here and there, but endurance and efficiency are supposed to be the key benefits.

Not that it's helped endurance or efficiency much either - seems like the team always runs out of gas partway through the 2nd.

sorry for the double post. haven't seen mac D here lately, did he die or something?

second, is anyone else feeling like we should pressure the puck more. I think it's fine to play the trap, but when the opposition has the number 5 Defenseman out there, I'd like to see us pressure the puck more. Seems to me we might get a few more turnovers and opportunities to counter attack if we forced play a little more. Just my two cents though.
