From the "It could always be worse" category - I caught this zinger on the front page of USCHO.

After Second Straight 0-25 Season, Lebanon Valley Leaves Division III for ACHA

One part of the article mentions:
"Since moving to the ECAC West from the ECAC Northeast starting with the 2004-05 season, Lebanon Valley is 12-135-2..."
Another blurb:
“The move to the ACHA will give our student-athletes greater opportunity for success academically, socially, and athletically...”

Let's not beat around the bush, I don't think any part of that move was related to academics or social growth. If the team had a better record, those two would be non-issues.

This is awesome, heard the story on SportsCenter in the MUB today...

Honestly, on home soil winning the gold...I don't blame them...especially since fans had been cleared out...

Yeah sure, booze and Zamboni driving may have gone over the top, but it seems they kept that to a minimum.

It's just a bunch of girls celebrating a great victory in front of a home crowd...

As for the choice of intoxication and inhalation...couldn't have been more classy than Molson and stogies on Canadian ice...
