Donna Douglas gone at 81-whoever is old enough, must have been in love will Ellie May Clampett. Also, starred in my favorite Twilight Zone episode-"The Eye of the Beholder" as the incurably ugly girl behind the bandages.

Elly May Clampett was one of the best characters ever on TV.

I love the story about how she went to LA to be an actress and did her best to lose her Louisiana accent, only to end up playing Elly May. ;)

81?? Wow! I must be getting up there, too. Are all the main character now gone?

Re: He's dead, Jim.

Working the medical tent, I got to meet virtually all the acts that were there. Have a shirt here signed by almost every one of them. Sat on the stage for a good portion of it. Had severe tinnitus for a long time after Ten Years After did their set. May actually have been totally deaf for a bit after Alvin Lee cranked out 'I'm Going Home'. It's been over 45 years and it seems like yesterday.

Wow. Being onstage for Woodstock must have been a hard act to follow for subsequent live music performances in your life. Except for Justin Bieber.

It was long time ago so I was a bit young to understand that this was a once in my lifetime kind of thing. The striking thing to me, even then, was how friendly all the singers were. They did not mind sitting and talking with you and I got the feeling most of them(but not all) were as overwhelmed by the entire thing as I was.
