I thought I heard that the avalanche may have stranded 100+ above the slide because it took out a bunch of ladders and other equipment.

The city lobbies him to open his hot sauce manufacturing plant within its borders, and then sues him because his hot sauce makes the neighborhood smell like his hot sauce. Amazing. He says that he won't move because the peppers are grown locally there, but he might want to reconsider and see if he can acquire some farm land in a similar climate elsewhere, like Texas, and then move his plant there. Heck, he can setup an irrigation system in the new place, if necessary. With much lower property costs, lower taxes, and lower labor rates, he could probably recoup the costs of the plant move within just a few years.
