HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

Re: HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

Gould slashes Beattie, another PP.

Re: HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

Seeing the replay of the 3rd goal denied again... Maine got hosed.

And that is supposed to be surprising? Bertagna, Parker, Norton, and the rest of the HEA cronies are STILL trying to get back at Maine for the Walsh years......;)

Re: HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

Think Todd Anderson and the Shepherd boys in the WCHA for bad refs--truly atrocious

Yeah, according to the rule they did. A few games ago a goal was waved off when it hit a skate and the player was skating backwards away from the net. Hockey East should clarify the rule and tell us that it can't touch a skate at all and not how the rule is written currently, or just like Shanahan does with suspensions, Refs or Hockey East or both should be held responsible for explaining such a blatantly blown obvious goal and at least give us an explanation for their reasoning. After tonight they have a lot of explaining to do if they have any integrity left at all.

Cannata injured, no Maine people were near him

Looks like he has to go to the hospital ASAP

Staying in.

Cannata overstretches, down on the ice.

Re: HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

Can we give Cannata two minutes for embellishment?

Re: HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

How much time do they get anyway

Re: HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

If Cannata drinks any more of that gatorade, he's gonna have to take a bathroom break in a few minutes.

Re: HE Quarterfinal: Maine vs. Merrimack & Referees Game 3

I am shocked that Maine didn't just get called for Embellishment!

(that's right, I'm going to make embellishment jokes all night).

If they don't explain this one, I would gladly sign a petition asking for an explanation for this one.
