The refs are VERY close to completely losing control of this.

I've always disliked Bob Norton.

I guess the pinpoint accuracy on the 2nd goal and the great breakaway from Diamond have nothing to do with talent by the Black Bears.

there have been 2 great passes in this game. Abbott had one, and Beattie to Shemansky was the other.

Whatever they do, Maine better go in the 3rd looking for the next goal, and not turtleshell to preserve the lead. I've seen Whitehead do this too often.

there is NOTHING in the rulebook that helps your position... if head contact was made, it is a penalty.
I have been thinking about adding a rule for turning one's back at the last second and putting oneself in danger. (USA not NCAA rules... NCAA might follow us though)

Okay to be accurate the hat was worn at Agganis and not the Garden during my daughters freshman year at BU. She is now a senior, and when you pay that kind of tuition you might as well wear a BU hat. I also wore it in DC and did cheer for the hated jackie at that Frozen Four!

What a dumb rule, in that case. There should be some responsibility of the "victim" to not create the situation. If I jump in front of you in your car at the last second and you hit me, it's not your fault.

For me, it's not about whether or not the call is a penalty - I'm okay with it being a penalty. I just don't think it's a 5-min Major and I definitely don't think he should've been given the gate. To me, that's where you have to look at the flow of the play. You can't blame a guy if someone steps into his path at the last min.

Maine needs to attack can't have 10 minutes of Merrimack pressure and depending on Sully.
