The NBC sports broadcast of BC-Mass is really nice.
I'd weigh in on some of the more controversial plays, but the combination of herky-jerk camera action and SD makes it pointless. The blob that was Swavely appeared to have a chance to avoid hitting the head of the blob that was the MC skater. He may have ducked, but it didn't appear to be a last-second sort of thing. It looked like Swavely knew where he was going to hit him. Unless my sense of time is gone, too.
Anyway, whatever. Need to solve Cannata.

Id have to see it again, but the guy was tangled with Leidermark and off balance and that contributed. It didn't look like a Rome-Horton head hunting situation.

KIA and I are in agreement. Have seen to many head shots and that was a head shot. Deserved a 5 minute major. However Maine aside from that one shot looked good in the 1st, but Cannata is a great tender, you have to get bodies in front and score ugly goals! Hopefully they do that in the 2nd, and Bigos played Joey perfect on that no penalty. No complaints about the officials, but MC is trying to get Maine to retaliate and we have to stay away from that.
Now a penalty to start the 2nd! Bad start.

Yes, after seeing 2 replays, it was clearly unintentional, and no elbow. 5 was too much, but no sympathy from Bunyon.

Ah, crap. I was just going to type something, and I missed the penalty on O'Neill.
Hopefully they call it tight the rest of the way. Maine's best bet might be to hope that their PP is stronger than their PK is weak.

Is the MC broadcast in HD on other stations?
I can't count how many times the cameraman has let the puck go off the side of the screen, and let it stay there for 5-10 seconds before adjusting.
