Agree Doc, too many letdowns against a quality team. RPI is so much better to watch night in night out than 3-4 years ago. Feels like progress...

It's progress. Hopefully we can keep it up because it isn't quick progress, and we have a lot of seniors on this year's team.

Inexperience shows and mistakes cannot be made against this Harvard team. If a forward makes a mistake, you may lose a scoring chance or the puck goes the other way. If the defense makes an error, it is often in the net as the goalie is just left out to dry and that has been the case for 2 goals. Add to that a power play goal and a penalty shot and you have some trouble. We have out shot them and had some very good chances. Also, scoring 3 against a team that has two goalies with save percentages over .950 has to mean something.

I got to watch the game last night and was very impressed the way we were able to play with and even out play Harvard in the first two periods.
Doc you are absolutely right about the mistakes, Not only last night, but in previous games also.
Even though we got beat 6-3, I think we can come away with a lot of positives.
If we can keep playing like we did last night, I think we will be very hard to play against in the second half of the season.
