heard a report that Fusco was transferring to Dartmouth
Any confirmation of this. lack of playing time?
The early signing period is upon us and while Harvard has yet to land a big New England Fish, it has ventured North of the border (Xavier Veilleux) and to the Mid West (Drake Murray out of SSM - some consider the top D in the 2006 class) to land two very strong defenseman. You have to think that Harvard has a good shot to land James Hagens (top 2006 forward) as well as some local guys such as Ted MacAusland, Drew Dellasalla, etc.
Really looking forward to this upcoming season where Harvard should have a good chance to win the ECACs and have a deeper NCAA run if they stay healthy. Harvard's top 2 lines should be very, very good and they return their starting goalie and top 6 defenseman.
Looks like the Crimson has between 11 November and 7 January, 11 on the road and 1 at home. Included in that are two against Michigan, arguably the best hockey team in the nation this year. I think they were a very young team and are returning just about everyone.

Why didn't attendance rebound last year with such a strong and fun to watch team (and being on the backside of COVID-19)? Shouldn't such an exciting team put fans in the stands? What can be done to get things back to where they were 10 or 15 years ago? Sellouts shouldn't depend on buses arriving from Ithaca. This is on the Athletic Department not the hockey staff.
Really like the team this far. With farinacci back (sounds like early Jan based on yesterday’s telecast), Harvard will have 3 lines that can score. Harvard has not had that kind of depth in recent years.
Potential derailers could be injuries, selfish play, lazy penalties (wong is the poster child here), lack of engagement in walkover games (feels like ECAC is down this year) - both 3rd periods this weekend we’re kind of meh. Also, I assume Gibson is the guy in net, but rotating 3 goalies is likely not a winning formula.
Harvard is off to the best start (4-0) in recent years. The opposition has been relatively weak, but our depth is impressive, esp. at goal with all three fully capable starters. Meanwhile, Karpa has stepped up nicely centering the second line in Farinacci's absence. Alex Gaffney provides great energy with his skilled spirited play. The Ivies and the ECAC in general, except for Q'pac, seem off to a slower start the usual, but the season is long and challenging opposition will surely come in Michigan, Ithaca, and Hamden. I want to hear others' perspectives on what you see as our strengths, weaknesses, and biggest challenges going forward.
Wrong……they lost ALL their studs
