Seems a bit harsh but point taken. I took a quick look and here are the HU league wins (22 game per season) over the past 5 years: 6 - 8 - 7 -7 -9 (34% winning % excluding ties). Not very impressive for a team that historically has been at or near the top of the ECAC. It appears, IMO, that the recruiting continues to go well with this years incoming class considered another high-end class on top of last year's strong recruiting class. Although the roster looks relatively young, there's no shortage of talent, especially at the forward position. The question is, what will the coaching staff do differently to reverse its losing ways? Better systems, particularly in their own end and in the neutral zone would be a good place to start. Gap control is non-existent from the D. More puck possession and better puck support upfront would also be a good way to leverage their skill and quickness against the bigger and more physical teams from NY. I'd also like to see the coaches get more effort and consistency from their players. Motivation at the college level goes a long way, especially with so few league games. The team culture needs to change. More leadership is required as well as a total team commitment to winning. In too many games I've witnessed Harvard gets outworked, particularly in the later stages of the games. These are just a few observations. Again, what is going to change this year with so many freshman in the lineup? If nothing changes this team will finish at or near the bottom again once again despite the individual talent on the team.
