Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

A Wednesday night game....

Somehow this feels like it should have been on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Anything to discuss on this one?

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

As I mentioned in the BU thread, the game will be broadcast nationally on <strike>Outdoor Life Network</strike> <strike>Versus</strike> NBC Sports.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Harvard is reeling with the loss of several key contributors due to the government class cheating scandal - Harvard's lack of depth has been seriously exposed. However, Colin Blackwell is healthy and Jim Vesey is back from the Wrold Jrs with gold so let's hope Harvard can keep this game close!

How about this: I'm making my kids walk to their religious ed class tonight, 'cause the family chauffeur's got a nationally televised Terrier game to watch!

(It's all I got. :o)
It's the only Div 1 game being played anywhere in the country tonight. Here's to hoping Donato & Co. can make it a game.

A Wednesday night game? Can I blame Bertagna?

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

I'm glad NBC Sports picked up this game, though I have no idea why they did.

It was probably picked up before the Harvard personnel issues and thought to be a close game. Remember, that before the scandal, Harvard was nationally ranked and picked to compete for the Quinnipiac (oops, I mean't ECAC) crown. I'll check it out, hopefully some good hockey.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Slim pickings without NHL hockey I assume. What else are they going to show on a Wednesday night?

Unfortunately they can probably pick up some cheap show like bass fishing that will generate almost as good of ratings as college hockey without the production costs.

Did I hear that correctly? 150 students involved?
