Happy Shark Week 2009!!!

Re: Happy Shark Week 2009!!!

See that is what I was saying...I could not believe what I was seeing plus you got to see sharks get so full they literally went into a food trance it was AWESOME!

I found it very interesting and then the moron jumps on the carcass. Who in their right mind does that??

Someone who wants to be on Shark Week! :D

I wish I had the opportunity...and the cajones...to do it!

I'd be too busy vomiting to be jumping anywhere. That has to smell awful.

Big improvement tonight. While the guy roaming around the world feeding Great Whites is incredibly cheesy, it's more actual "science" then the endless boring shark attack specials. Ugh. More science, less Fox garbage...

That guy was a little crazy but it was fun to watch :)

Re: Happy Shark Week 2009!!!

The documentary they should do is how 80% of all shark species are impossible to distinguish. There are about 100 dogfish that are black, chunky and have green eyes. Meanwhile, there's no way of distinguishing grey reef, galapagos and dusky sharks. It's maddening. I'm beginning to think that this whole 400 species of shark thing is a vast conspiracy!
Or maybe just more shark sex and Roboshark...

The shark attack specials are freaking boring no matter how much dramatized gore they add. You mean dudes on surfboards look like seals to hungry sharks? NO WAY!

Enough already. Jaws takes a bite, we taste terrible, he spits us out and we may or may not die because sharks are born to kill whatever they bite.

The program the other night about the world's most shark bite prone areas was even dumber because they did the same crazy quick-cuts to make things seem dangerous, they had some jerk in a cage dangling hunks of tuna out to feed great whites so they could try to measure the bite and, of course, when the shark grabbed the tuna the guy let it go because he didn't want to lose his friggin arm.

DUMB.

Yeah, I thought we'd moved beyond that in the years after Jaws. But no. I haven't seen too many documentaries about the plummeting numbers of sharks in the ocean, but I see TONS on handful of times sharks kill people.

This is the real reason I like Roboshark, people. That and the current state of PC hockey...

Re: Happy Shark Week 2009!!!

Solution: have Roboshark attack and kill the idiots that keep making these faux shark shows.

That's a good idea. But if it works too well, they might expand ripping off this board and have Midget Voltron week.

Re: Happy Shark Week 2009!!!

If that happens, a lot of people would fire up the DVR's.

I want to see a documentary featuring scum's underwear, tiny swords and rampant midget mayhem. But not everyone will feel that way.
