Must've lost a bet. There's really no other rational explanation for that kind of nonsense. (Then again... is Pi day really the day for rational explanations?)

The 1st annual 3.run4pie was a success.

I sampled chicken pot pie, shepard's pie, pizza pie, apple pie, chocolate pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, and pecan pie. And I only tried half the pies.

Thanks to JDubbs and his mom, I finally saw the light and have joined Gopher Kingdom. You should, too - we owe our very hockey existence to the vaunted U of MN. Actually, we probably owe our very existence period to them.

Man, words pour out of those guys like . . . like the numbers in pi, actually. You think it's got to end sometime . . But you're wrong.

Belatedly, I'd like to point out that pecan pie is the best pie. I'm sure you all agree.

What's the best Pi Day deal you've seen in your area? Last night I got "buy an item, get a free piece of pie" at Grand Traverse Pie Company.
