I would say that the chances that at least one of the fires was set in this capacity is about as close to 100% as you can get without hitting 100%.

Jail might be safer for that person if they're ever caught and convicted of that.
 
Good riddance, 2025.

Fireworks from six different cities visible from my rooftop: Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Glendale, Phoenix.
 
Was on the couch in my pajamas by 8:30. Watched Wicked for Good (my brother got a screener) then watched the ball drop and was in bed by 12:15am. Do I know how to ring the new year in or what?

This morning I cut the New Year’s bread which I made on Sunday. I left off the sesame seeds because my niece and SIL can’t eat them. And I won the dime! I swear I did not plan it that way. But honestly, I feel deserving of it and hope it’s a sign of good things in 2026. 😀 If not, at least it was tasty. Kinda proud of myself because it came out really tasty.

ETA - I also wish you all a Happy - and healthy - New Year. I’m thankful for this community.
 
Congrats SOH!! Sending positive thoughts your way that all goes well.

Started off the new year today working. I haven't fired up the laptop since December 16. Lots of people out so it was nice and quiet. I didn't want to waste a vacation day. I managed to do laundry, pay some bills, put away Christmas presents. Not a bad day. And now - it's the weekend!
