Happy International Left-Handers Day (August 13)

Re: Happy International Left-Handers Day (August 13)

I was supposed to be left handed. My mother would demonstrate how to hold various objects to me as a very young child, and she kept taking them out of my left and putting them in my right because it didn't look like the way she was holding it. For this reason, and because I broke my right hand in middle school, I am ambidextrous.

All this forcing over makes me wonder if there has been a case in recent history where a right-handed child was ever forced over to left.

I guess we're going to find out if I ever have any kids who feel like acting out.

The only thing any of my kids will ever do left-handed is throw a baseball. In fact I may force them to throw lefty.

I'm left handed, and wish I could pitch. Even marginally. I'd be rich! :D :(

My best childhood friend was born right handed but broke his arm and ended up being left handed from that point on.
