Had a very nice day yesterday. Actually, it was a nice weekend. Got flowers from my mom and sister on Saturday. HN and I had separate meetings to attend yesterday afternoon, but he was sneaky and set up my gift on the steps just inside the door. A dozen red roses, a couple of foodie-type books (Guy Fieri and Alton Brown) and a note. His folks took us to dinner and gave me a gift card to a store I like. Nothing terribly fancy (Olive Garden), but very nice. :)
