Neither could the officials looking at the replay. (I was sitting 3 rows behind the penalty box where the monitor was located.)

On the broadcast they mentioned that the refs had access to the overhead view but they "couldn't show it" on the broadcast.

The broadcast does not have access to the overhead replay; the referees do at ice level.

I was looking at the replay officials screen from about 3 rows away. I was told that they did have the overhead view, however I did not see it on their screen.

Or maybe they don't! I was told they had overhead at ice level, but you could see what they were looking at--and you may indeed be right.

Just to be clear. I only saw the screen a short period of time during that time. I now have no doubt that they did have the overhead shot to look at. I was told by somebody who ran over to look at the screen that it did not clearly show if the puck went into the glove.
