Rearranged our day to listen to this one. Should be a competitive game. Union knocked down a peg against UCONN cannot be a happy bunch. Unusual game in that it is being played on a bigger sheet of ice-that usually favors an offensive team. I am just hoping that we play well and play smart. Staying out of the box is mandadatory against the Union power play. I suspect coach SA will surprise us all with some line tinkering and perhaps even a goalie surprise. I am more interested in who controls the lay that the fianl score. Let' Go Red!!

Leaving around 11 and spending the night up in Lake Placid. This should be a good one between two tough teams. Will be a good test for both teams coming off the Atlantic Hockey swing both just played. Other than CC this might be the first true test of the season for the Engineers. I hope to be celebrating in the pubs tonight after the game. Sucks to be U!!!

We have played on a larger ice surface in Colorado already this year, that should help.
Last chance to get a look at the players we want to start the ECAC next week. It would be good to go into the league games with a win against a league foe.

Union also played on the large ice surface in Alaska.

I didn't mean to say it would give us an advantage, I was just stating a fact. The larger surface might have been a bigger problem had we not already played on it.
I look for a very intense game. This rivalry really started to heat up last year. Our recent record against Union is not good. We have to start winning games against them, and today is a great day to start.

Can't really argue with coach SA's choices-but sure would like to see Cullen get into the mix somewhere. Had been hoping Bryce got a game before the league season started-perhaps he might get one period today

I too would like to see Cullen in there, but he is going to have to work his butt off to move someone out of that line up. All of those guys are playing with a lot of intensity this season.

No question the guys listed are all working hard. I love the hitting they have been doing.

The RPI women are behind Clarkson 1-0 in Potsdam. They beat SLU yesterday for the first ever time.

Good test for the RPI defense-playing a top offense on a big sheet of ice-this could tell us whether our defense is as good as it has shown in the first 6 games
