Guelph at RPI (exhibition) 10/8/23

Another good period.
The team needs a lot of work on the power play.
Team defense has been very good.
I don't know how good Payent is going to be, but in five periods so far, the puck just seems to find him and he looks good with it.
One more period to go for the weekend.

Really hard to evaluate with these Canadian teams. One thing to sometimes look at is how they play against other US teams in exhibition but I have no reference for Guelph. We will at least have 2 full games of play under our belt when we travel up to Maine next week. The first 4 games are all on the road against Hockey East teams and their level of play we are pretty familiar with.
