Hillary nailed this one. Remember how everyone came out so shocked about what she said? And nothing Trump ever says is shocking to any of those people.

I don't disagree but the other way is not working. It's time to bring out the base for once. It's what the Republicans do.

She’s been great for Maine and kept a lot of jobs in our State. She’s done the best she can with Trump but unfortunately there are no great answers. Part of me thinks that if she actively went after him it would have strengthened his position on ‘draining the swamp’ or taking on the ‘deep state.’

And she lied to every single person in America about Kavanaugh. But, that's ok. Republicans love liars.

I disagree. It is time to shakeup the Party in a major way. Time for a major leadership change. Too many Tina Smith's who motivate no one. Too many Joe Biden's who, while being good men and standing for most of the right things doesnt really push you to want to follow him. And too many people who just cant see that this is no longer just a game of tug of war...this is a fight for the soul of the country.

To the GOP every fight is in the name of 'Murica! Half the Dems dont ever act that way and what have we learned in the era of Trump (or all throughout history) people want a strong man.

I think the fairly widespread vote splitting (voting for Biden + incumbent Republican senator) is unfortunately a repudiation of a progressive agenda by the majority of voters. They wanted to get rid of Trump, and they want the Senate to gridlock a Democratic house and presidency.
 
To touch on Handy's post/rant a few pages back:

As much as we like to think of America as being the grand experiment, it really isn't any different than what people have lived under for the past 5000+ years... We are just led to believe that our individual voices matter here in the US when they really don't. Greed/Money will ALWAYS come to the top... Those that have the money have the power... It happened with Pharos in Egypt. It happened with Kings/Royal Families in MidEvil Europe. It's what's causing our current issues here. It's not gonna change anytime soon...
