So reading around some news sites, and headlines popping out that people didn't like Ricky Gervais's hosting job last night. He burned a few actors last year, what did they expect of him this year? I missed the opening monologue and just caught it on youtube. Freaking hilarious! "...just don't look at it when you touch it."

Many Hollywood types either can't take a joke, or they don't want anyone laughing at their expense if they don't make a dollar for it. People need to lighten the hell up.

Tony K. had a very nice bit on it this morning. It's what Gervais does. If you don't like it, don't hire him.

It's like hiring Howard Stern. He will say "I promise you I will offend you." And then he will be offensive; not funny, just offensive. And then people cluck about being offended as if they thought, "oh, he'll carefully calibrate his act to the audience." Um, no. Res ipsa loquitur.

I thought it was very odd, but if you like sike Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman having lesbian sex, you'll love it. Oh, and Natalie Portman masturbating.

And it's pretty kickass beyond just those parts.
