More war today. Nothing accomplished except more hungry refugees leaving Syria for Jordan.

Good job, Earth.

They have some more of the 82nd airborne headed over and from what Col David Hunt said on the radio this afternoon it includes some A10 Warthogs.

They're already there.

WAR PORN! :D

The A-10 Thunderbolt II, a jet beloved by U.S. ground troops and locked in a fierce budget battle in Washington, has been added to the arsenal the United States is using to target Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, Air Force officials said.

The planes arrived at an undisclosed base in the region between Nov. 17 and Nov. 21, and will support Operation Inherent Resolve – the mission against the Islamic State – and other operations in the region, Air Force officials said.

Who picks the names of operations? Some Under Secretary of Symbolism?

Why not something like Operation Annihilation?

Watch "In the Loop." It's a pretty good idea of how those things get picked.

I'm glad to see that the President has picked a new strategy to deal with ISIS. I guess he's going to punk them or else why would've he picked no military experience guy Aston Kutcher to be SecDef? ... What's that? Ashton Carter? ... Oh ... So we're being punked?

The good news is we'll still be at War and it still will be a colossal waste of money.

MoH recipient Dakota Meyer to ISIS.... Bring it on b!t¢he$

http://warrior.scout.com/story/1487706-dakota-meyer-responds-to-isis-warning

Let me say what a lot of us are thinking...If ISIS is using social media to track me, that's a dream come true in my book. These guys are a bunch of bullies that just prey on the weak," says Meyer. "I can't travel over there anymore now that I'm out of the Marine Corps, so having them come to me would help out a lot. ISIS targeting the U.S. military is like a sheep targeting a lion. Hopefully one of these *******s actually shows up. They'll definitely get more than they want at my place!

Great talk, but a little well-placed C-4 and it really won't matter.

It's not called Medal of Genius.

But the thought is appreciated. A little bit of bravado can go a long way to help esprit de corps.

Yeah, "Bring it on" worked wonders....

The thought is appreciated, and particularly his service, but when bravado sneaks into policymaking, including the voters' influence on policymaking, it tends to go a long way to something far more harmful than helpful. I doubt you disagree, but it had to be said.
