Luckily there was an ENG clause in the bet, and ctf only owes $50. Moral victory.

That third period might have saved Russell from a lynching. JFC.

And we've discovered that I'm not the source of the GLI curse - the weenie hat is. The goal that made it 4-3 came when I sneakily removed the hat to trick the hockey gods into thinking I wasn't there. Said hat will be locked in a vault and buried pending approval of tLodge.

In any event, I am now 1-12 lifetime at GLI. This is like the frigging Undertaker having never lost a match at Wrestlemania.
